Investigating road traffic collisions determines what happened, why it happened, and what can be done to prevent it from happening again. It specifically focuses on how the direct cause is influenced by the root cause and considers all other contributory factors.

You will learn what it takes to be an unbiassed investigator and the techniques needed to investigate collision evidence. This course will highlight the process of root cause analysis and how to make investigation recommendations for remedial action.

This is a 3-hour online course counting as one optional module towards the FORS Practitioner qualifications.
