Industrial noise is a nuisance and where noise issues arise from a fleet operation it is important to show that best practicable means were used to prevent the effects. Following and implementing a noise management plan can help quickly resolve issues.

You will learn how to develop a noise management plan that includes preventative and counteracting measures. This course will also highlight the importance of noise management, its links to environment impact and those affected.

This is a 3-hour online course counting as one optional module towards the FORS Practitioner qualifications.

All participants taking advantage of the FORS rate must be employed by the FORS Operator when the course is booked and paid for. The training record will be assigned the FORS ID entered.


The FORS discount is not transferable to a non-FORS operator. Improper use of a FORS ID to achieve an ineligible discount will result in training records and certificates being revoked.
