Designed to assist fleet managers in their busy everyday roles, the workshops provide the tools you need to reduce road risk and environmental impact, boost the performance of your transport operation and help meet the requirements of the FORS Standard.

Description

All FORS Professional manager training is delivered remotely.

This workshop (Workshop 4 – Managing Driver Training and Development) highlights your legal responsibilities in managing driver assessment and training and supports you in developing a plan. You will learn how to assess the outcomes of training and evaluate its impact to ensure your training plan is successful.

Each FORS Practitioner workshop is 2.5 hours. Those that complete all ten workshops are awarded FORS Practitioner Status.

Non FORS members can attend FORS Professional training at non discounted rates. Please contact training@fors-online.org.uk

Managing Abnormal Indivisible Loads

FORS Bronze ‘O5 Specialist operations’ requires operators to conduct specialist operations safely and in accordance with the law to ensure that associated risks are managed. This is to make sure drivers, passengers, and other road users are not endangered. This course will support members by helping them to identify what an abnormal is and the differences between AIL and abnormal load, and so in turn help with drawing up the FORS mandatory policy required for specialist operations.
